Latest figures show that eBay's visitor numbers are 13.2% down in October compared to the previous year.
eBay fans will also be worried to hear that Nielsen Online has reported a 10% year-on-year decrease in eBay's unique viewing figures. Figures also indicate a 19% drop in time spent online per user, and a 33% decline in page views during the same period.
It may be that the scheduled holiday promotions gets either stepped up or extended. Currently, UK users are being offered 15% off their next eBay purchase.
eBay's shares have declined 59.7% since last November.
